Why do 2litre Sauce bottles only fill 3 1/2 500 mil sauce bottles?​

I have tried two different brands of sauce and they are both the same…the smaller bottles are the same brand and are not over filled . Has anyone else noticed ? My family goes through so much sauce I thought this would be a way to save money…

That's really strange! Doesn't seem like that's up to regulations

Jonathan I used Coles brand and master foods brand…the small 500 ml bottles are master foods. I will try and send you a photo…I fill the little bottle just a bit over the label I have marked it on the photo with black pen but it is a bit hard to see..

Obviously they aren't really two litres. Once again we're being had.
