WHY ARE FLORISTS IN AUSTRALIA SO DECEITFUL?
I used to send numerous floral arrangements as gifts, to friends interstate,
Over the years, however, I have only had about 20% satisfaction. The gift is almost NEVER what you order, if you're lucky and it is, the number of flowers is reduced or slightly wilted flowers are snuck in.
Because of the horrendous price nowadays, limited selection, in cheap cardboard boxes, where the flowers appear to look like offcuts and broken stems, they are so short, I started sending gifts from Gift Shops instead

This morning I ordered a floral arrangement for one of my very, closest friends in NSW (I live in QLD) we have known each other since High School.
Sadly, she is very ill with numerous health issues and just recently contracted Covid.
She Is the only person I still send flowers to, as she is a staunch flower lover, especially with Roses.
I sent her a bouquet last year and it was one of the surprisingly good ones, so obviously I used the same florist.
I ordered from the catalogue, while speaking to her on the phone and requesting ONLY ROSES as shown. but Pink Roses instead which she confirmed she had (and which are generally a bit cheaper than the red, however, still pricey).
I even increased the size for a higher price.
I have never spent this much on flowers before and being a pensioner, it's a lot of money, I honestly feel lied to.

I sent her this email an hour ago, expressing how angry and upset I feel - and most of all lied to!
I am very upset that my request was not met.
How do you justify me asking for ONLY ROSES as requested with your photo: (PHOTO)
and sending this: (PHOTO)
I LOATHE MIXED BUNCHES of more than 3 varieties and specifically ordered her favourites....
I would rather have a bouquet half the size of just the roses and greenery as shown.
She is my closest friend and will not live long, especially now with Covid.
Why bother putting up photos if you don't send what was advertised?
This is dishonesty and I feel lied to.
