Years ago I hired a car in Germany, latest VW Golf with a gps direction thing. So we were driving and it said turn left 10 meters. Did that. Then 100 meters turn left, so I did. It was a one way road but both ways. Then it said turn left in 5 meters and I did only to be confronted with a 5 foot gap under a castle. It took 2 hours to back out - the sign pointed 1 Way and I was going that way.

I had two copies of Blondie's "Parallel Lines" album for some strange reason. "One Way Or Another" was my favourite track, along with "Hanging On The Telephone".
