Hi @Donk! Have you been anywhere like that? What are some of your favourite locations?Away from the coast, also away from large towns. This will make sense. To an area where it is not overlly populated. Looking for wildlife, where we can observe without bothering them. So flowing water is a bonus, as much as trees and assorted growth. Not overly interested in tourist areas, due to money driven activities. Our finances are more destined to servos and supermarkets. There is a large amount of travellers doing similar activities, from walking, bird spotting, like us photography. Cheers.
Too many to list individually. West coast of WA, has many spots. Getting there across the Nullarbor, a lot of side roads to explore. Where it might take some a few days to reach the next spot, we could take several months. Walcha in NSW is a lovely spot. With lot of areas around to visit as well. Paronella park in North Queensland needs a mention too. Best advice would be, do not rush to get to that spot, check the side roads. Some have amazing scenery, you miss from the highway. Often it is not the spot, more the people you meet there that creates the memory.Hi @Donk! Have you been anywhere like that? What are some of your favourite locations?
