Available in a 170g pack at Coles for just $4, these sweet treats are sure to be a hit with the whole family.

And with three fruity duos to choose from–including Blackberry & Peach, Apple & Watermelon, and Raspberry & Pineapple–you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Plus, how could you resist the sight of those oh-so-adorable pup-shaped lollies inspired by a Dachshund, French Bulldog, and Scottish Terrier?

‘We know Allen’s lollies are often the hero at celebrations big or small, and when we do get together with family and friends, our furry companions are often part of the occasion,’ said Nestlé Oceania’s Head of Marketing Confectionery, Melanie Chen.

‘So we’re thrilled to bring our love for lollies and four-legged friends together for Allen’s Party Dawgs, a fun and fruity collection that is perfect for sharing.’

The announcement has already sent fans to express their excitement on social media, with one saying: ‘Stop! This is too cute.’

While another joked: 'Honestly, my addiction to snakes could change to pups.'

The company has also released additional doggy accessories to go along with their new range.

Pet owners can now dress their pup in the perfect paw-ty accessory by purchasing an Allen’s Dog Bandana (available in three sizes!) for only $12.95.

The item is made with lightweight and high-quality material and uses an adjustable velcro tab for easy placement on our furry friends!

However, as with any pet product, the company advises pet owners to ‘PLEASE always monitor your pet while wearing their accessory’.

The sizing suggestions are as follows:

Small - Dachshunds, King Charles Cavalier

Medium - Kelpie, Poodle

Large - Labrador, German Shephard

More and more companies are reportedly tapping into the pet market as it is said to be a rapidly growing $10 billion-dollar sector.

Bunnings Warehouse was one of the recent ones who joined the market and started offering pet products in their stores to compete with booming pet specialty stores, which have flourished since the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Sixty per cent of Australians now own at least one pet. It has become a very important part of many, many families across Australia, and we think that the connection that people have with the Bunnings brand, bringing those pets into the store, creates a giant advantage,’ Mr Schneider, Managing Director of Bunnings, told reporters.

Pet owners can now purchase food, toys, dog beds, and kennels at their local Bunnings Warehouse or on their website.

Yum😁

Those lowrider Dachshund lollies will be popular. My brother owns a Dachshund. They're hounds, and true to their name he behaves like one.

Probably won’t buy any because I really don’t like the “natural” fruit flavours that lolly makers are all using these days. Give me the old yummy artificial flavours of snakes, red and green frogs, etc, anytime. When flavours were red, green, yellow, orange and purple and not a fruit flavour in sight!

I will buy a bag for my great grandsons, they have French Bulldog. I might sneak one or three myself.

Does the "shape" of the lolly really matter? More spin....obviously jelly babies aren't PC anymore and Allen's are tapping into the current dog "mania".

WELL....
Instead of bringing out 'New' varieties why don't Allens :-
1. Improve the flavour of what they got on offer (some are completely tasteless while others are like plastic and greasy, most don't taste right for whatever they are)
2. Bring back Mint Leaves, Banana's etc even Teeth (teeth are disappearing).
3. get rid of Blackcurrent/blackberry flavours - YUCK!!!!!
4. Go back to the original recipes for all of them then they will look right and taste right.
5. Ditch preservatives such as Sulphites - which a lot of people can't have in their food.
6. Stop shrinking/ripping customers off and they will sell more.

That said I like Teeth - But i like them to have that Minty flavour that toothpaste has not the current milky flavour.
Mum loves Bananas and mint leaves (but not together).

Don't usually go for the 'New' ones as they are likely to be greasy and plastic-like with very little flavour.

Years ago they used to make melt-in-the=mouth mints. I don't know what they were called. They looked similar to cool mints but they were not shiny or hard. I wish they would bring them back.
