For mine it's large shells. They act as little pockets to hold in the sauce.

Fettucine goes great as well as does small and large spirals. Bow ties are a little too cheesy for me (pun intended).

Hate the shells they tend to mush up and really don’t hold the sauce and meat inside.but pennes brilliant. And my all time fav is just plain old thin whole meal spaghetti.I love being slurpy
