Nociceptive pain is a chronic body pain that causes noxious stimuli by nociceptors, which are carried through the CNS, also known as the central nervous system, for the body to protect itself. Chronic pain can be detected through blood tests, x-rays, CT scans, and many others. Chronic pain is caused by back pain, cancer, interstitial cystitis, and many more.
