What has been the highlight of your week?​

It has been a while since we had a chat! And I'd love to hear from all of you again. So, what has been the highlight of your week?

As for me (Sethia), the SDC has been brewing plenty of surprises recently, and I can't help but be excited about our community. We've grown so much over the years, and I believe we're bound for even bigger things!

My mum's birthday is also coming up, so I've been really enjoying gift-hunting and preparing for her big day. Something about birthdays and making people feel special, as everyone should on their birthdays, makes me feel really happy. How about you? I have been at Tweed Heads since April and only now has my neighbor said gday,I tried to break the ice when we moved in but only just got a nod, all of a sudden everyone wants to talk so is good

We were able to get away to The Barossa Valley in South Australia for five days!!

Rode our Road Bikes (NOT electric bikes) up Mengler’s Hill 2.8 kilometers at 7% gradient!!

Ate some amazing dinners, drank awesome wines, met many very friendly people!!
Will definitely go again…sooner rather than later

On Tuesday my wife and l went to see The Meg 2. We enjoy movies with adventure and thrills. Having seen the first one wanted to see the sequel. It turned out to be even better than the first one. It's one of those films that's both exciting, and in parts funny. Highly recommended.

Having deltwith bowl cancer and taking that shocking but life changing stuff over 20 years and at 83 yrs I finally am all clear so that is my good news nellie

Well today is my 78th Birthday. I find it hard to believe that is how old I actually
am. No doubt a lot of people would agree with that. There are a lot of reasons to be grateful. I have a good family who do their best, in whatever they do, I have four children 2 of each. Who have given me a number of Grandchildren 6 in all as well as three beautiful Great Grandchildren. Family is so very important for us all. I have been blessed.

My highlight was today when my Sister (who's very busy) and who's going through a stressful time due to a break-in, called in today and we spent time talking about other things and watching a Netflix show she's been looking at. That with cups of tea and chocolate biscuits, plus a home-cooked meal to take home, was such a happy time for us both.
