I always look forward to sitting down and writing this article each year! Since 2021, I’ve been able to share what we plan to deliver for you, our valued members of the Seniors Discount Club, in the coming year. 2025 is no different, and I'm thrilled to share what we have in store!

Reflecting on last year’s article for 2024, it feels like a 'pinch me' moment seeing how much we achieved. Our fantastic team brought almost everything we promised to life, and I have every confidence that 2025 will be just as exciting. It’s going to be another year of growth and innovation, and I hope you enjoy the journey.

Of course, none of this would be possible without each and every one of you. Your support is what keeps the Seniors Discount Club thriving. Thank you for opening our newsletters, reading our articles, playing our games, and engaging with the forum—your involvement truly makes a difference. I’d also like to extend a special thanks to our SDC Rewards members for their continued support. Your commitment helps us elevate this community to greater heights, and we are deeply grateful for you.

Our 2025 version of the ‘Ultimate Seniors Discount Club Guide’ eBook:

• Expanded deals and discounts across Australia: We’ve had an influx of restaurants, cafes, and stores reaching out to offer exclusive discounts for our members, so you’ll have even more savings opportunities!
• Refreshed and updated content: We’ve meticulously gone through our eBook to remove expired deals and add fresh offers. If you find a store in the eBook that has closed, it means that, at the time of publishing (December 2024), no closure information was publicly available.
• Enhanced rural and regional coverage: We’ve worked hard to include more deals and discounts for members in regional areas. Remember, our Discount Directory is always there to help you find the best local savings!
• Online and eBook options: Prefer not to use a PDF? Our Discount Directory is better than ever—simply type what you’re looking for, add your postcode, and hit ‘Search.’

Our daily newsletters:

• Improved newsletter template accessibility and segments: We will be introducing a new template in January 2025. Our focus for this template has been accessibility for all members as well as improved segments, and completely new ones too! So you have all the segments you know and love in our daily newsletters to look forward to AND more.
• More games: We know how much you love them! Expect new games not just in our newsletters and forum, but also as standalone apps you can enjoy anytime.
• More member-generated content: Your stories and opinions are what make our community special. Whether it's a review, a personal story, or a tip, we can't wait to feature more of your contributions in 2025. Interested in writing for us? Reach out at [email protected]—we’d love to hear from you.
• More exclusive deals: We’re continuing to build relationships with retailers to bring you even bigger and better discounts in 2025.

Our forum and app:

• Expanded forums: We want to introduce even more forums that you will enjoy. A lot of our new forums will be based on the feedback we received in our SDC survey we did in the last few months of 2024, but if you have any additional forum suggestions please let us know in the comments below and we will make it happen!
• New apps: Without giving away all our secrets, we want to make sure you can access everything Seniors Discount Club via an app…
• More eBooks: We plan to release more eBooks this year—sent as gifts for you to enjoy at your leisure. While print versions remain a goal, we’re excited to continue expanding our digital library.

SDC Rewards Members:

• More prizes and surprises: Sweepstakes is just the beginning! We will continue running our Sweepstakes competition where you get the chance to win $1000 every single month, but we’re also working hard to bring more rewards to our SDC Rewards members, including a broader range of vouchers and additional prize opportunities.
• New and exclusive games: You’ll enjoy even more games in 2025, all ad-free and available in the Rewards forum and as mobile apps.
• Extra discounts: We’re partnering with more retailers to give SDC Rewards members unique benefits, so stay tuned for some fantastic offers.
• Early access to new content: Be the first to enjoy our latest apps, articles, and eBooks as they become available.
