I have a 4ft tall, sitting, fluffy stuffed lion that I was given by a very special person back in 1975. He sits in the corner of my bedroom. Over the years he also sat in my kids rooms when they were young, "he comes awake at night to look after you while you are asleep." They never once had nightmares so it must have worked!! He even went for a holiday to my daughters when one of the grandkids was having trouble at night.
