What’s a small, random thing that always takes you back to a special memory?​

Hey there, members! How are you all feeling? This time of day can sometimes feel a bit slow, but it’s also the perfect moment for little surprises, like hearing an old song you love or catching a scent that brings back a special memory.

For me, it’s the smell of pancakes in the morning—it instantly takes me back to childhood weekends with my family.

I listen to 2UE while cooking and cleaning and many many songs they play take me back to the 60s and 70s.
It's always music which takes me down memory lane

Going back 60 years while in Grace Bros Broadway Sydney just to look at the Xmas decorations a little old lady shopping in her Pillbox hat, gloves and pink dressed was there and she smelt of violets. Every time I smell violets I think of this beautiful old lady and think she must have been rich to shop there and not just look like us.

Everytime l smell " Lily of the Valley " it takes me back to my beautiful mum. My mum passed at only 59 from melanoma. I used to rub a lotion she had of this into her hands. . Now if l go in a chemist, l quiet often seek it out and and spray on my hands to smell all day.
