Weird Town Names​

I was disappointed that my old hometown was not mentioned on the list of places … it was BURPENGARY. When we had the option to change the name, the residents voted overwhelming to name it BURPENGARY EAST.

Such great Aussie names. Maybe not PC for these days but lots of them are quite literal. Geographic features noted by the nominee.
