See Australia first it’s a beautiful country.
Having lived in 3 states and one territory (WA, SA, NSW and ACT), I have probably seen more of Australia than most people born here.

But have you lived anywhere else but Queensland? It's one thing visiting a state and another to live there. I have visited Queensland a few times, I wouldn't want to live there. I have visited Victoria on a number of occasions and especially more recently since my youngest son has moved there.

I lived in WA for 14 years (in Albany and Perth) and two of my four children still live in Perth and I still own a house there. In August last year, my daughter, my partner and I did a road trip from Perth to Kalbarri and Shark Bay. Early in our relationship, my partner and I drove from NSW to Perth - that was my 5th return road trip across the Nullarbor and my partner's first. My first trip across was back in 1969, not long after I arrived in Australia. I have also crossed the Nullarbor from Adelaide to Perth on the IndianPacific.

I lived in South Australia for 5 months - just long enough to buy a house before moving to NSW. I still have the house and travel there on a regular basis to do maintenance. My partner and I visited the property in March this year and extended that trip to include the Barossa Valley before following the coast along SA into Victoria and finally to Melbourne to call on my son.

A couple of years ago we detoured to Lightening Ridge on our way to Brisbane, but then the border was closed and we had to cut our trip short. The following year we decided to visit White Cliffs and then head towards Coobar Pedy, but SA closed the border and we had to return home after travelling to Broken Hill.

It is quite different living in a place and visiting.

No, I have gone to places that I wanted to see that was of interest to me and am quite happy with where I have been. You can see can see a lot while travelling over a few weeks.
