With over 900,000 discounted fares available across their network, this sale is a golden ticket for anyone looking to explore new destinations or visit loved ones without breaking the bank.

The sale, which is already underway, will continue until March 18, offering select flights from March 25 to December 12 this year.

However, you'll want to act fast as these hot deals are subject to availability and could be snapped up before you know it.

Imagine soaking up the sun and embracing the laid-back lifestyle of Byron Bay, with one-way Economy Lite seats from Sydney to Ballina starting at a mere $49.

That's right, for less than the cost of a nice meal out, you could be jet-setting to one of Australia's most iconic coastal towns.

But the deals don't stop there. Virgin Australia is offering a plethora of sub-$100 fares to some of the most scenic spots around the country.

Whether it's the cultural hub of Melbourne, the historic charm of Hobart and Launceston, the bustling streets of Sydney and Newcastle, the political heart of Canberra, or the beachside bliss of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, there's a budget-friendly option for every traveller.

And for those with a penchant for island paradises, the 'never-ending summer' promotion includes enticing deals to idyllic destinations like Samoa, Bali, Fiji, and Vanuatu.

Picture yourself sipping a tropical drink on white sandy beaches, exploring vibrant coral reefs, or immersing yourself in rich local cultures—all without the hefty price tag.

For the more adventurous, Virgin is also offering return flights to Tokyo for $679 and one-way tickets to Queenstown in New Zealand from Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney for under $300.

These international fares are perfect for those looking to add some stamps to their passports and experience the wonders of overseas travel.

All sale fares come with the added bonus of Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits, making this deal even sweeter for those who love to accumulate travel rewards.

This sale follows hot on the heels of Virgin Australia's 24-hour leap year flight sale, which saw airfares starting from as low as $35.

In addition to the sale, Virgin Australia Regional Airline (VARA), based in Perth, has been crowned the best regional airline for 2024 by AirlineRatings.com.

The airline has won the award for the first time in its history, beating out global competitors.

VARA Executive General Manager, Nathan Miller, said: ‘This award follows a number of exciting milestones for VARA as we continue to diversify our charter portfolio and expand our reach in Western Australia.’

And for those who can't bear to leave their furry friends behind, Virgin Australia is working on making travel more pet-friendly. Plans are in the works to allow animals to accompany their owners on specific domestic routes, with dedicated rows for pet travel.

While there will be size restrictions and regulatory approvals to navigate, this is a promising development for pet-loving passengers.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to create new memories, meet new people, and experience the joys of travel.

are we really that stupid or is it the airline that is stupid....we DO really have to get back from our holiday and thats when we get stung...do these airlines really think we are that stupid that we go on holidays without a thought of getting home ...why not give us a return flight price...99.5% of passengers will require getting back home OR didn't the airline figure that out. So get a return price before you buy a fantastically cheap ticket to get there, remember you have to get home

Reminds me of the slogan for W.A. SALVAGE years ago:- 'We're not fancy but we're cheap, eh?' (Loved that ad).

The only difference with them was they were cheap but good products & there was never a hidden agenda as is the case here. How much WILL the return journey be? CAVEAT EMPTOR - Let the buyer be aware!
