you give me something to help me stop getting up 3 times a night. Man is in 70's.oh yes no problem he says, giving me a script. It will probably take a couple of months to make difference. But you must continue to take them for the rest of your life.
I thanked him and left.
A while later I'm still getting up once or twice a night. I also noted sex was becoming less and less interesting. As time went by I noted that the equipment down below was diminishing. I discussed this more recently with my current GP.

That's why it's diminishing and little desire.
I said you mean it's like chemical castration ?
Yes it is pretty much.

So if you are not so old and given a script for Duodart, make sure to ask questions. I didn't and was told nothing about it's real effects.

Was given them following my six weeks of Radiology treatment for Prostate Cancer....thankfully not for 15 years....long off them now though, following the Radiology treatment nearly 3 years ago.
