Not sure it is only the Cherokee. My son has a Wrangler which has had heaps of problems, which the company is struggling to fix or find the parts.

The problem with Jeep vehicles is that because they are manufactured in the good old US of A the availability of parts is a bit difficult. Also, Jeep is imported and handled by Chrysler Jeep Australia which acts more or less independently from their USA principals and, they don't like paying for anything. Parts for Jeep here in Australia are poisonously expensive even when you can get them. Sorry, but that is my opinion about their backup service, the cars are good and are a pleasure to drive, they look good and perform well but their after sales service is questionable.
