Unveiled: Cadbury's most dramatic Easter transformation ever hits Australia
Cadbury has just announced a monumental shakeup to their Easter range in Australia.
This year, the Easter Bunny will be delivering a whole new variety of treats, featuring exciting collaborations and a fresh commitment to sustainability.
The Easter range will now include delectable collaborations with Pascall, Sour Patch Kids, and the Natural Confectionary Co., adding a playful twist to the traditional chocolate eggs and bunnies.
The first of the new flavours is Cadbury Bubbly Mint Bunny. It offers an indulgent twist to classic Easter chocolate with its smooth and creamy Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate enrobing a light, airy & bubbly mint centre.
This new addition is sure to delight mint lovers and chocolate enthusiasts alike.
Lolly lovers are also in for a treat with the introduction of the Cadbury Pascall Clinkers Easter Bunny.
This crunchy new bunny on the block blends the smoothness of Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate with the iconic crunch of Pascall Clinkers lolly pieces.
In addition to these exciting new flavours, Cadbury is also marking the Easter occasion with some sweet collaborations.
Joining forces with the iconic The Natural Confectionery Co. and Sour Patch Kids, Cadbury has created two gift boxes.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Sour Patch Kids Gift Box and Cadbury Dairy Milk and The Natural Confectionery Co. Gift Box both feature a milk chocolate hollow Easter Egg paired with two treat-size lolly bags from either of the beloved brands.
But the changes aren't just about tantalising your taste buds. Cadbury is also making significant strides towards sustainability with their Easter range.
The Hollow Hunting Egg plastic crates will transition to 12 and 24-pack cardboard cartons, saving 131,000 kg of plastic.
Furthermore, the plastic blister and excess cardboard in some Cadbury Easter Gift Boxes will also be removed, saving over 200,000 kg of packaging.
Ben Wicks, Vice President of Marketing Mondelez International, Cadbury's parent company, expressed his excitement about the changes.
'This is one of the biggest and boldest packaging changes we’ve ever made to our Easter range,' he said.
'Over the last two years, we have been working hard to re-design our packaging footprint, preserve the taste and quality of our Easter products, and deliver a positive change for Cadbury fans.'
The new Cadbury Easter range is now available across all retailers in Australia. So, whether you're a fan of the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk or you're excited to try the new collaborations, there's something for everyone this Easter.
For a long time, the company has been at the forefront of Easter sweets innovation. The company introduced the Cadbury Creme Egg in 1971, and it has since become a staple of Easter baskets around the world.
Last month, they released the Creme Egg Tub ice cream in Coles supermarkets in partnership with Peters Ice Cream.
