Unlock huge savings with Woolworths' freshly announced Everyday Rewards Extra promo

As we all know, every penny counts, especially in today's economic climate. That's why we at the Seniors Discount Club are always on the lookout for ways to help you stretch your dollar further.

And today, we've got some exciting news for our savvy shoppers: Woolworths has just rolled out a major new promotion for its Everyday Rewards members that could see you saving big on your grocery bills.

Starting immediately, Woolworths is offering a 50 per cent discount on the annual subscription to their Everyday Extra program for both new and returning subscribers.

This means that instead of the usual $70 a year, you'll only have to pay $35 for the first year. That's less than $3 per month—a small price to pay for the potential savings you could enjoy.

But what exactly does an Everyday Extra subscription entail? According to the website, members could get:
  • Exclusive discounts on a range of products
  • Additional rewards points on certain purchases
  • Special offers tailored to your shopping habits
  • 10 per cent off your total shopping bill once a month at Woolworths and BIG W

This promotion is limited-time, available until June 4, and open to anyone who has signed up for the free Everyday Rewards program.

If you're not already a member, now might be the perfect time to join and take advantage of this deal.

Hannah Ross, the Everyday Rewards ANZ Managing Director, highlighted the timeliness of this promotion, acknowledging that shoppers are on the lookout for ways to save at the checkout.

‘We know our members are looking for ways to save at the checkout each week, and with the annual subscription of Everyday Extra cut in half, we hope more of our members will join Everyday Extra to take advantage of the savings on offer,’ she said.

Since its launch nearly two years ago, Everyday Extra has attracted hundreds of thousands of Australian subscribers.

Ross also emphasized the savings their members can enjoy, sharing: ‘Our average subscriber gets close to $30 every month in value back from Extra, or $360 a year on top of the savings they get from the Everyday Rewards program and the promotions available at Woolworths and Big W.’

Woolworths' Everyday Rewards program, with over 9.4 million active members, allows users to save money by activating bonus point offers, shopping specials in their 'My Weekly Picks', and redeeming fuel discounts.

This new promotion is an added incentive to get more value from your shopping experience.

This offer says for the 1st year so does that mean to continue being a member it will be $70 annually ongoing, if so I will have to consider it’s worth as we don’t have a Woolies in town but we do visit a town short distance away that does have Woolies sometimes

if one spends $100 per month every month then its worth it.($100 /mnth=$5 x12 =$60 0 Unfortunately because Coles/ aldies have competitive prices one must ,these days pick the eyes out of the specials so there goes another $100 over 2/3 shops (its worth the savings) Loyalty is dead, strictly business now.

It's like they admitting to ripping people off. Sounds like a scam if you have to pay money to save money. Still cheaper to shop at Aldi I expect.

I have my car insurance through Woolies. I get all these offerings along with competitive insurance cover. Win, win.

Who pays for these “deals” I think those not signing up are paying for Woolworths to pretend to be our friend. No wonder Aldi can beat their prices. Metro easily beats woollies 4 cents off. Seniors shop often so no big shop to save. Thanks but no thanks
