TV Week

I remember the paper boy coming around every afternoon delivering our newspaper and Mondays were special because the TV Week would also be delivered.

I remember being excited to read about what was on telly the next week and to also read about the stars.

I would also hold my breath to see who was that weeks centrefold and if I would have a new poster on my wall.

Life seemed so much simpler back then.

I don't think young people today even know what a poster is .

Memories 😊

Your going back a long way, when your talking about a paper getting delivered in the avo.
June's JB HiFi magazine has a poster (Bumblebee from Transformers)
The only days newspapers are delivered now is weekends and that's through a pre paid subscription and they usually leave it 2 doors down on the nature strip at 5am

Oh wow this brought back memories. Every Monday I looked forward to walking to the milk bar after school to buy my copy of TV Week. I'd always hope that there would be some pictures of my favourites for me to cut out and keep, and I loved reading what was going to happen in the next episodes of all the shows I loved to watch.

Did you notice that they've spelled "colour" as "color" on the cover? I commented on this a couple of weeks ago. The magazines in the picture must date back to the time when the government was sort of kind of trying to change the way that we spelled some words, and make spelling "more streamlined" or whatever strange reason it was.
