I know about bongs have used one b4 back to my cousin. He was always having smoke in the shed and at times fell asleep out there on an old lounge he kept out there. Anyway he did something or forgot something and left one Saturday afternoon and the shed caught fire and my aunt thought her son was in there , he wasn't and she died having a heart attack trying to put it out.

Same as he would come home late at night and cook and forget about it with my aunt waking to the pot burning and in the morning he knew nothing about trying to cook
Not doubting your story Suzanne Rose, just the fireman's assumption that it was caused by a bong, pretty unlikely I would think.
So sad about your Aunty though.

Yeh it was devasting she was only 49 but for a few years, she had told all of us many times that the cause of her death will involve fire caused by her son

And no, I'm not laughing,BUT I am smiling,😊because I do believe and I like believing that it's not the end when someone passes.🌈🌠 And I know that not everyone thinks or believes this and that's okay too. Good on you Suzanne for bringing the subject up. I wrote on here a week or two ago about the time I visited my Dad's grave and when I was leaving after saying goodbye and that I loved him and was walking back to the car,I heard a noise and the vase had fallen over and not a scerrick of wind about. A coincidence, maybe, maybe not.🤔 Here's another story. After my older sisters funeral 15 years ago we all stayed at my Mum's house for the night. Well,at sometime during the night, there was a noise in the house that woke some of us up and started the dog barking. My Mum called out " What was that? " I called out it's alright Mum ,I'll have a look. I got up switched on the lights and began walking down the hall to the loungeroom and kitchen. Mum had quite a few pictures on the lounge room wall of my sisters,me,my Dad, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews etc,etc Well,I kid you not, guess which picture had come loose and fallen into the floor.? A picture of my dear departed Dad in his navy uniform holding my older sister as a toddler. My sister whose funeral had been that day. Wow! It was scary, emotional, beautiful, unbelievable, all at the same time. ✨❤️ Just saying.!!!
I believe that was your sister letting you know she was now with your dad. While some people laugh at stories like this I truly believe it's not just a coincidence it's our love ones letting us know they are ok .

Three years ago Over a couple of weeks a number of us in my family kept hearing footsteps and chairs dragging .

Four of us were sitting upstairs watching TV when we heard our dining room chairs being dragged on the tiled floor, we heard this a couple of times then realised no one else was home. Hubby and I both went downstairs and nothing was out of place, back door was locked from inside .
We went back upstairs to finish watching what we were watching . This room was directly above the dining room . The last 10 minutes of the movie the chair was again scraping on the tiled floor. I ran straight down and absolutely nothing had moved and no one was down there .
We all heard it and yes hubby was still a sceptic.

At other times we would be downstairs and hear the computer chair being dragged on the floorboards in the upstairs loungeroom. Again a few of us heard it but no one was up there.

Then a friend of mine was visiting who is a ghost whisperer. I said nothing to her, when she told me that there was an elderly lady who had passed and keeps visiting us and that she was checking on us that we were OK and she was around waiting for her husband. Yes this friend knew that this lady had passed a few months earlier. But she didn't know what we were hearing . (these elderly couple were like my kids grandparents)

Over the next two months we had heard chairs dragging and footsteps outside my bedroom , even hubby was hearing these.

Then we got the call to say her hubby had passed and there were no more chairs dragging.

Now the story doesn't end here !

This couple loved going to my kids 21st and weddings and even at my daughters wedding in 2019 just 3 weeks after losing his wife he danced with my daughter , 6 months later he was gone.

Now 3 weeks ago at my daughters wedding, my daughter had a table as you walked in with a photo of this couple and a photo of the grooms grandfather who had also passed . Yes name plaques were on them which my daughter had done. But on the couples plaque his name was Boris , which wasn't his name but a name his son had given him and we all knew and called him by.

My friend the ghost whisperer was at the wedding and came up and asked me who was John that passed , I said my father inlaw ( inlaws died in a car accident when hubby was 13) she said no it wasn't him , she then said she was confused because she was sure its the man in the photo but it's John not Boris then it hit me his real name was John. She said he was watching and so proud of my daughter 💕

I have never believed in ghosts, but.
We were driving thru a country town about 15 years ago when we saw an old, somewhat neglected but lovely federation style home.
We bought the place with the intention of flipping it, but I had such a strong attraction to the home that we moved in ourselves and spent the
next 12 months restoring it back to it's former glory.
As with this style of house it had a long hallway from the front to the back of the house.
In the evening, when going to the bathroom you had to pass the kitchen, and you could always hear the sound of 3 or 4people muttering and mumbling. If you went into the kitchen they would stop
I never mentioned this to my husband as I thought he would say I was crazy.
However after about 2 years he said to me one day, this house is haunted
and he had been hearing the same thing.
We lived there for about 3 years, it never bothered us. When we sold the property, we never mentioned this to anyone, but three months later a friend contacted me and said the new owners were saying there were ghosts in the house.
She was surprised when I told her there was definitely something strange going on there.
Have never had any other experiences though.
