Transform your travel experience with this astonishing $10 Kmart find!

Travelling can be one of life's greatest joys, but it often comes with challenges, especially when packing luggage.

Whether you're a seasoned globetrotter or gearing up for a rare getaway, you've likely faced the dilemma of fitting everything you need into your suitcase.

What if there was a simple, cost-effective solution to help you pack smarter and more efficiently? Enter the $10 Kmart travel item that's taking social media by storm and changing how people pack for trips.

The item in question is Kmart's travel compression storage bags, and it's quickly becoming a must-have for savvy travellers.

For just $10, you get a set of six bags (four small and two large) designed to compress your clothes.

This item is a game-changer for anyone who had to sit on their suitcase to close it, or worse, leave items behind because they could not make them fit.

Lifestyle and travel blogger Jess Ricci, who has become an online sensation with over one million likes on one of her social media accounts, swears by these bags.

She's known for packing her suitcase to the max and has always feared the day it might burst at the seams.

With Kmart's compression bags, she's found a solution that allows her to pack even more without that worry. She also claims that the bags freed up to 30 per cent of space in her luggage.

'These are pretty much the old school vacuum storage bags but made manual,' Jess explains in a video.

'You pack them up and then compress them down. I personally like the rolling technique.'

The rolling technique Jess refers to involves filling the bag with clothes, sealing it, and then rolling it to push out the air, flattening the garments in a way that traditional packing cubes can't compete with.

The result? More space, which, if you're anything like Jess (and let's face it, many of us are), you'll likely use to pack even more items.

The buzz around these compression bags isn't just coming from Jess.

Kmart's website is filled with glowing reviews, giving the product an impressive 4.3-star rating.

One traveller shared that the bags worked wonders, allowing them to fit two weeks' worth of clothing and shopping into half a suitcase.

They also noted another benefit of protecting clothes from spills or leaks—a common concern when travelling.

Another customer recounted how the bags were a lifesaver on a trip to Japan, enabling them to pack more and shop to their heart's content.

For those dealing with bulky winter clothing, one reviewer highlighted how the bags significantly reduced the space needed for storage, accommodating full-length puffer jackets and heavy knits easily.

However, it's worth noting that some users had difficulties getting the air out of the travel bags and compressing it.

One reviewer even resorted to larger sandwich bags as an alternative. As with any product, individual experiences may vary, and a little trial and error may be necessary to get the best results.

Despite these few hiccups, the consensus is clear: Kmart's travel compression storage bags are a travel item worth trying.

For the overpackers, the shoppers, and the just-in-case packers, this $10 investment could be the answer to your prayers.

So, before you embark on your next adventure, consider stopping by Kmart to pick up this travel game-changer.

Yes, I imagine these bags would work well, but Airlines still make you keep under a certain weight per bag, and squashing the air out of the bags wouldn't make your items weigh less even though they take up much less case space.

Going to travel around Europe for a month in July with just a normal back pack🤞. Might look at these to get some room for shopping.

I had these over twenty years ago, you took air out via the vacuum cleaner?
these are a little different, they are just for travel purposes. You load them and seal them, then roll up to force air out the 1 way nozzle, don't use a vacuum to extract air.
