Transform your meals with 'restaurant quality' burgers now at Woolworths!

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to pinch Australians' pockets, many are finding creative ways to enjoy the finer things in life without breaking the bank.

One such avenue is the kitchen, where home cooks are increasingly looking to replicate restaurant-quality meals in the comfort of their own homes.

Recognising this trend, Woolworths has launched a new range of burgers that promise to bring the 'restaurant experience' to your table.

The new Home Burger range at Woolworths is a direct response to the changing habits of Australian consumers.

A recent survey conducted by the supermarket giant revealed a significant shift in spending, with more Australians cutting back on dining out and entertainment due to financial pressures.

In fact, Woolworths' August Customer update highlighted that household spending on eating out has seen a decline, with nine per cent more people opting to stay in and cook rather than eat out in July 2024 compared to the previous year.

To cater to this growing demand for at-home dining options that don't compromise on quality, Woolworths has partnered with Hilton Foods to develop a line of burger patties that took over 12 months to perfect.

The Home Burger range boasts 16 new products, including nine beef patties, three chicken options, one pork variant, and even a Wagyu Beef and Peri Peri Chicken for those seeking a premium touch.

With a four-pack of patties priced between $8 and $10, Woolworths is making it possible for customers to indulge in a gourmet burger experience without the hefty price tag of a restaurant.

Woolworths managing director Louis Eggar has expressed confidence in the new range, stating, ‘Burgers continue to be a favourite, and restaurants are always finding ways to make them even better. We were inspired by that energy and created a new supermarket burger range that's not just convenient, but juicy, flavourful, and truly satisfying.’

'We know our customers are doing it tough, nearly 42 per cent of them are struggling to make ends meet.’

‘We’re confident that our new range delivers the texture and taste you’d expect from a burger chain, an experience that is both affordable and delicious, allowing customers to recreate restaurant-style burgers at home.'

The Home Burger range is available at all Woolworths supermarkets and online.
