Tiramisu Overnight Oats

This is nice for a change for breakfast.

It serves one person

1/3 cup oats
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons of prepared black coffee
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup vanilla yoghurt
cocoa powder, to garnish

In a container with a lid, place oats, milk, coffee, honey and vanilla.
Stir well to combine. Cover and place in fridge overnight.

In the morning, pour about 2/3 cup of the oat mixture into a glass.
Add half of the yoghurt to make a layer, then add the remaining oats.
Finish with a final layer of the remaining yoghurt.
Sift cocoa powder over the top to finish.

Eat it by the spoonful.

I’m an oats lover as well , usually have home made muesli and fruit for breakfast and in Winter home made porridge with oats and fruit , but your recipe is a nice alternative . Thanks for sharing .

I got the recipe from the healthy food guide magazine ages ago.
And we got it from you otherwise we would never have seen it. My daughter has it twice a week. She makes her own food and meal preps every Monday night. She makes this for Tuesday and Wednesday This is the daughter who is a trainer at The Yard Gym

That's so good. I find it really filling actually. Probably due to the oats + yoghurt.

Thanks. Off to make this tonight. I usually have oats daily cooked (uncovered in the micro for 2 minutes or until it swells and rises in the container and remove before it overflows) in water only with a few dates sometimes a chopped banana. A change is a great idea and having all the ingredients at hand even better..
