Tin clickers

Who remembers tin clickers? Those little handheld gadgets that made the satisfying pop or click sounds? Back then, you could find these treasures in Christmas stockings, birthday parties, and colourful show bags. They were instant attention grabbers shaped like cute frogs or your favourite cartoon characters. Who still remembers playing with these tin clickers? Tell us here.

I certainly remember playing with tin clickers! I recall frogs and beetles. I believe they came in show bags and Christmas stockings. They don't make Christmas stockings like they used to. When I was a little girl they were filled with lots of fun toys, a doll included and a comic! I always looked forward to receiving my stocking on Christmas Day....fun memories...

I remember these, they were fun at annoying people - sad thing was as the years rolled by the people who were manufacturing them start using thinner metal and the edges where not rounded, so hence I started get too many cuts from them. Then plastic was being used for the body with an even thinner tiny clicker and they broke so easy. They became to unsafe as far as I was concern for my children & grandchildren.
