Thanks oldchook58, I found it last night and watched the Introduction of the Thunderbirds....I can see just by that one episode the reason for its success....an amazing amount of work done to capture every scene so graphically....sorry now that I missed out on it in my miss spent youth.

Best wishes, Magpie1.I'm glad you found an episode to watch, you should be able to watch other episodes, they get some really hard rescues and its touch and go for some of them. It used to amuse me when they would show close ups of real hands turning dials or whatever. Poor John must have been so lonely stuck out in space by himself, he gets radio messages to send to the dad who is in charge of the whole operation, then he briefs the boys on what the situation is and off they go in the Thunderbird machines to save them. Each episode is different. I have VCR recordings from the show which will be played for future grandchildren. Enjoy Magpie1.
