No matter how much work is put into cleaning your bathroom walls and floors, if the shower glass screens are not spotless, they can make the whole bathroom look dirty.
Unfortunately, cleaning glass shower screens isn't as easy as 1, 2, 3. Watermarks on glass shower doors can be difficult to remove, especially after hard water has dried and left behind chalky limescale deposits.
On the bright side, though, there is a simple DIY cleaning solution that will help you restore the lustre to your shower screen, and you probably already have it in your kitchen cupboard!
Cleaning enthusiasts on social media are raving about a new three-ingredient spray that claims to make your shower screen seem brand new in just minutes.

Posting on a popular Facebook group, one homeowner shared that she was also having difficulties cleaning her glass shower doors and screens. That is until she discovered this DIY spray made using only three simple items from her pantry.
'Rinse aid, vinegar, and dishwashing liquid… my new bestie!' the mum wrote in her post on the Facebook group.
She then revealed to the members how to make their own 'miracle spray' at home. All they had to do was mix three squirts of dish soap, 200ml of rinse aid, and 200ml of vinegar in an empty spray bottle, and that's it! Mix thoroughly, and now you have a tried-and-tested cleaning spray for stubborn shower screen stains.
Many so-called 'miracle' cleaning solutions have been shared on social media in the past, often including the use of vinegar and dish soap. (This DIY cleaning solution also uses Lectric washing soda, water, and essential oil such as eucalyptus.)
This is the first time we've encountered someone mixing rinse aid to use as a shower glass cleaning solution, and it seems that they're getting pretty amazing results!

Several users commented on the mum's post, with many saying that this DIY spray is a 'game changer' in their home. 'It's all I ever use now – easy, cheap, and totally effective!' one user wrote in the comments, with another adding: 'Best cleaner ever.'
Others said it was also handy for cleaning other glass surfaces in your home, such as the windows. 'Just apply with a broom and then rinse off. Job is done!' one person said, with another agreeing and adding, 'I clean our windows with this mix. Spray on, scrub with microfibre, then squeegee off. Perfect, streak-free finish.'
But for those who don't want to go to the trouble of preparing their own homemade cleaning solution for shower screens, there are products available for purchase in supermarkets that a lot of homeowners and cleaners trust and rely on.
One such product is Bar Keeper's Friend, a cleanser and polish that promises immaculate results after only one scrub on shower screens. If you're looking for an alternative method of cleaning your shower screen, the video below may also be of help.
