Are you considering renovating your home, but aren’t sure where to start? Or maybe you’re stuck in a design rut and need some fresh ideas to get your creative juices flowing. Either way, we’ve got some exciting news for you!
A Gold Coast couple's DIY home renovation project has gone viral online after they shared the stunning transformation.
Jennifer and her husband, who just purchased the home five months ago, said that they 'worked tirelessly' to realise the vision they had for their new home.
Sharing before and after photos in a popular Facebook group, the couple stunned social media users after they were able to transform the 80s-style property into a chic coastal-themed abode.
'We're only a quarter of the way through renovating this old girl who totally deserves the makeover,' Jennifer wrote.

Originally, the kitchen had outdated cream cabinets and a brown countertop. However, as the couple reimagined the space, they came up with a design that is completely different from its previous design — switching the cream cabinets with white cabinets with silver handles from YDL and ditching the brown countertop in favour of a stone benchtop.
The formal dining room also received a makeover, with the couple transforming it into a huge butlers pantry with cabinets and shelving.
Jennifer shared: 'We have another dining room so didn't need a formal one.'
Aside from the cabinet upgrades, the couple also installed a large double sink and fridge in the kitchen to complete the stunning interior.
Other notable additions in their renovated home include a massive white clock from James Lane, and new kitchen stools ordered online from Brosa.
The couple also installed vinyl planking to brighten up the dark floors.
Jennifer and her husband also gave their arch entrance a makeover by painting the bricks and installing VJ panelling.
The staircase handrail was also given a fresh coat of paint to match the walls and doors. With a few simple updates, they were able to completely transform their space - and you can too.
Finally, the couple installed a door track from Handle House in addition to the barn door they constructed to separate the rooms.

One user wrote: 'Wow. Obviously great bones to start with, but you have done a fantastic job. She's stunning!'
'This is amazing. It's like looking at a completely different home, well done,' another added.
A third chimed in: 'Your home is absolutely gorgeous.'
With a little bit of imagination and creativity, you can surely give your own home a similar stunning makeover.
