I also did my laundry and all my kitchen bench tops with a vinyl wrap, albeit it was a bit more expensive.
Have used the Kmart one for different projects, but did find it a bit thin and damaged easily.
If anyone is interested you can buy the much thicker one from a company called Vinyl Home NZ. Another advantage being it comes in different widths and much longer lengths, hence no joins, also much easier to work with as I said though more expensive. IMO worth it.
