Just when you thought that the classic Oreo cookies couldn’t get any more delish, people are sharing around one recipe that makes for the perfect sugary snack that the grandkids will love! – air-fried Oreos!
These bite-sized treats have been appearing all over TikTok, with users far and wide whipping them up at home! Talk about a sweet tooth! And you’d be surprised just how easy these little bad boys are to make! All you need is pancake batter, a few cups of milk, some bowls for mixing, your trusty air fryer, and of course, Oreos.

Now let’s get down to business:
The first step is to preheat your air fryer to 190ºC.
Then, mix a cup of pancake mix with a ⅓ cup of your preferred milk in a small bowl. Some TikTok users added an egg and a small drop of vanilla extract to their recipe. A couple of choc chips wouldn't go astray either.
Once the batter is well-mixed, go ahead and dip your Oreos in, making sure to get a nice and even coating.
Then line your air fryer basket with parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray. Depending on the size of your cooking tray, you can pop in around six Oreos at a time.
Air fry every batch for four to five minutes until golden brown. Then flip each cookie with a fork and continue cooking for two more minutes, or until the second side is lightly browned.
And voila! Your air-fried Oreos are done and ready to munch on. Some TikTok users prefer their snacks plain and simple, while some added powdered sugar and fruit toppings.
The end results are slightly crispy on the outside but perfectly chewy and sweet on the inside. If you’re looking for a quick snack and have no time to shake up your pancake mix, we suggest using a ready-made dough to cover the cookies.
