Nyuk nyuk nyuk! Who remembers laughing at The Three Stooges?


Their antics — belting each other with mallets, eye pokes, and nose pulls — had kids in stitches every Saturday afternoon. The slapstick was outrageous, over-the-top, and maybe not very PC by today’s standards, but back then it was pure comedy gold.

The Three Stooges kept making their films right up until the late '60s, building a worldwide fanbase, and their shorts were still running on Aussie TV into the 80s. These days, you can still catch plenty of their classics on YouTube — and honestly, they’re just as funny now as they were back then.

Loved them as a kid, and not afraid to admit watched them for many years as an adult. They were often the short before the main movie at the Gaythorne picture theatre. Then TV came to our house and they were on there. 8ngave them a pasting.
