A guy is sitting at home when he hears a knock at the door.
He opens the door and sees a snail on the porch.
He picks up the snail and throws it as far as he can.
A year later, there’s another knock at the door.
He opens it and sees the same snail.
The snail says, “What was that all about?”

We had a greenkeeper at my local Bowls Club who was spotted one day screwing his boot around on the cement When asked what the hell was he doing, he replied that he was just killing a snail because the damned thing had been following him all morning and he was sick of it

What has changed? We hear deliveries are not daily anymore but twice weekly sometimes due to staff cutbacks, less letters & more emails.
