I think it's been won Judy, I sent a message a couple of weeks ago asking where the results were and never got a reply..I wanted to congratulate the winner...????
Thank you , it would be really good to see who won 😊

Yes, it was won by member Palmbeach. See last photo on page 13. It is a lovely black & white picture of this member's 80 yo mother holding her 1st great great granddaughter.

A pity there was no official announcement in the Forum. I did see it was won in the Newsletter but I thought an official response from whoever organised it would be the thing to do..

@SX2002 I am so sorry! I didn't even realise the announcement wasn't posted on here as well as in the newsletter, I'll do this right now! But we absolutely did award a winner on the 11th of February!

Goooood Morning everyone! I am so sorry on the behalf of the entire team! We announced the winner of this competition in our newsletter on the 11.02.2022, however, we didn't announce it here on the forum as well like we should have! I am truly sorry for any confusion about this and take full responsibility for anyone who feels like we have mislead them or that this competition was never drawn. I apologise profusely!

I must say, we had so many fantastic entries for this competition, so we really struggled to pick just one photo. However, after a ton of debate and discussion, the winner of the SDC Photo competition was... @Palmbeach! She sent us a photo of her mother meeting her great GREAT granddaughter. That’s a few generations right there! And the photo took our breath away.

A huge congratulations to Member @Palmbeach! She won a $100 voucher to spend at Woolies and if you'd like to check out her photograph, you can do so right here!

My garden animals social distancing themselves. Plus my ground cover is coming along nicely with all this rain and the occasional bit of sunshine.

I just love this photo of my adorable German Shepherd Aiko, he is such a great companion.
He turned 7 today so he will get some treats and a new chew toy.

I thought I had better add the second rescue cat into the mix. This is a female, she is named "Max" by the granddaughter, came as a week old kitten, mother deceased. Max confuses our black cat as she swishes her tail like a dog when happy, the black cat see's that as aggression, yet they co-exist ok in our home. The black cat bonded to me, and Max bonded to my wife. Max being feral has always one eye open. She disappears whenever we have visitors. The black cat is just an OC (opportunist cat) and smooches most people after a few minutes eyeing them off.

Sadly Max has passed, the Vet did everything they could, Max passed on the operating table, she was cremated and her ashes now sit on the window sill in a wooden box with her name on. We miss her, Max was a unique cat. Now the black cat has full reign on the home.

Playing with a drone enables fabulous aerial views of my beautiful little island where I live.
