I walk every morning and while walking in the bush, I happened to look up and there was this quite large Spider poised in its web, just above my head .. I took a quick snapshot and kept walking.

Took these photos with my iPhone 6sPlus. We were on our first caravan adventure in late November 2020 at Moore Park Beach near Bundaberg, QLD. I was so pleased with my efforts that I had them made into canvasses to hang on the wall.

Hi guys! It's 2022, and we have a new competition for you... This one is for the photographers (amateur, professional, semi-professional - we don't mind!) among us.

There's no theme or requirement for any professional equipment - entries using smartphone cameras are perfectly acceptable.

The only rules are that the photo was taken by you, and that you include a sentence or two to give us a little context/back story about the photo.

We'll be announcing a winner a month from now - i.e. Feb 11th.

An incredible photo of a storm rolling in taken by member Annette. Her caption was: "This photo was when I was walking on the beach in Cape Woolamai and it was about to start raining and I was talking to my grandson who is 6 and he said send me a photo, I quickly turned around took a photo and went home, then when I saw my grandson he said that was a great photo nanna and I thought I should have a look at it and he was right."

Ha! Your Grandson was most certainly right Annette, it's an incredible photograph!
