The Project hosts become speechless over Chris Hemsworth’s risqué confession

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as the mighty Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently left television hosts on The Project in stitches with a cheeky revelation about his work on the animated film Transformers One.

The film marks a notable departure for Hemsworth, as it marks his first foray into voice acting, as he plays the iconic role of Optimus Prime.

During the Sydney premiere of the film on Wednesday night, 11 September, Hemsworth was interviewed by The Project's panel.

‘This is the first animated film you have done. It almost seems a crime to keep your face off the screen, did anything surprise you about the role?’ Sam Taunton asked.

'It was just fun, I recorded this in my house, so I could go down there in my jocks and record most of this film,' Hemsworth quipped, adding a playful suggestion to the viewers, 'So, when you listen to it, or you watch this film, you can imagine that if it helps.'

The hosts were quick to respond with their own witty remarks.

Sam admitted, 'Weirdly, that really does help, Chris, it really does.’

‘I think we have some—do we have a vision of that?’ Sarah Harris joked.

‘No, because we can't record your mind,’ co-host Waleed Aly said.

Hemsworth responded that fans should look for such footage in the 'closing credits’.

The banter continued as Waleed Aly accidentally referred to Hemsworth's character as 'Optimus Crime’.

‘You made him flustered when you talked about your underwear before, Chris,’ Harris joked.

The conversation ended with the hosts and Hemsworth laughing off the idea of Optimus Prime donning metallic underwear.

‘Definitely Optimus Crime in his underwear, he runs through the—’ Hemsworth began.

Aly continued, ‘It would be quite painful metallic underwear—anyway, I'm stopping talking about this!’
