The popular Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake is finally back at Woolworths. Get it before it's gone!

The world has been crazy about anything Biscoff, and at the Seniors Discount Club, we're just as obsessed! Whether it's Biscoff biscuits, ice cream, or the spread, we've tried it all.

Biscoff is simply irresistible and keeps delighting us with its deliciousness!

Recently, we got excited when we heard that Woolworths was bringing back their incredibly popular bakery item, the Baked Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff. This limited-edition dessert made a splash on supermarket shelves last September and quickly became a sensation in the baking world.

However, we noticed that the price of this outrageously delicious cheesecake has gone up from last year's $20 to $22.

But there's good news too! Woolworths has also introduced a brand new and equally decadent treat, the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie, priced at $14.

So, whether you go for the Baked Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff or the tempting Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie, your sweet cravings are sure to be satisfied!

Adam Mourad, the Director of Fresh Food at Woolworths, said, 'Biscoff flavour has taken the world by storm, and we wanted to celebrate the unique flavour in a rich and creamy cheesecake for customers to enjoy.'

'We're also excited to see the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie arrive in stores. Cookie pies have been rising in popularity over the past few years, and so we've created a fun version for the whole family to enjoy.'

Nick Vavitis, the man behind popular brownie company Choclt (also stocked in Woolworths), took to social media to express his excitement about the Baked Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff's return.

After taking a bite, he said, 'It looks more beautiful than ever...the cheesecake is super fluffy, and you can taste the tang to it. The Biscoff wasn't overpowering either.'

It is no surprise, then, that Woolies customers have taken to social media to express their excitement about the sweet treat.

'Was just talking about this yesterday ... but realised I hadn't seen it again after inhaling it months ago,' one social media user said.

'I just know this is going to be the best-baked cheesecake,' another said.

So, members, if you haven't already, we suggest you make your way to your local Woolworths store as soon as possible and grab one of these baked goods before they disappear off the shelves for good!

But, no matter how good the store-bought bakery item is, you can still get a taste of Biscoff in your own amazing recipes.

Key Takeaways

  • Woolworths has reintroduced its popular Baked Cheesecake with Loaded Biscoff, but with a $2 price increase making it $22.

  • Social media and dessert enthusiasts reacted positively to the return of the Biscoff baked cheesecake.

If you're looking for a special and easy-to-make treat at home, why not try making a homemade Biscoff cheesecake? It's a delightful option whether you have a free day on the weekend or want to celebrate a loved one's birthday.

I just want to comment on the price increase of just 10%. What about the increase of baked beans (3 pack for 2) they’ve gone from $3 to $6. That’s 100% increase. How is this even allowed ?
And let’s be fair, baked beans are a lot more use on the shopping list than cheesecake.

At $22.00 I would probably NOT purchase.
This is something I would attempt to make at home..
Biscoff and Lemon Butter are two things I find extremely hard to go past…in moderation though!!!

It’s a biscuit, usually given free with coffee (Eastern States anyway)
Country Bumpkin (NOT) very rarely go out for coffee so have not been offered a free biscuit. Can Someone give me a comparison of the taste of Biscoff to other biscuits (is it sort of like Shortbread etc) I just want to see if a Supermarket dash is warranted

Galena:
Lotus Biscoff this is how I would describe them.. caramelised, crispy with a very slight hint of cinnamon ( thank goodness it’s not too much as I really dislike overpowering taste of cinnamon) and crunchy

You can buy the spread in a glass jar , I suppose near the other spreads .I have a jar in my pantry , but haven’t used it . It is made in Belgium and contains wheat flour , sugar , vegetable and soya oil , cinnamon , raising agent . It has all natural ingredients and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. I suppose you could make your own cheesecake and adjust the sugar and cream contents , that what I usually do . You can make cheesecake from cashew nuts.

Talk about expensive! Never seen it before but i rarely go to their bakery dept. as much of everything has sulphites in it and my family has a hand-me-down allergy to that pesky additive that makes us sick for days.

One has 0.5 health rating and the other one has 1.😕

Probably got too much sugar in it and not good for diabetes. It's a no from me.

Thank you for that, I have never seen the spread and do not hold out any hope of finding any of the Biscoff cheesecakes described in the article, or even a packet of the biscuits to be honest. Woolworths here seem to think that people living in the regional areas do not want the same products as their city cousins, a lot of "New"products advertised do not seem to find their way into either of the 2 big Woolworths stores that we have here.

I live semi rural and I bought it when it was on sale , about $2.- cheaper at the local IGA , but Woolies sells it as well.

Vegetable and Soya oil is a complete nono for me, its not a healthy choice, now if it had virgin Olive oil or coconut oil then it would OK.
