The Peterhof Palace, in Saint Petersburgh Russia, has to be seen to be appreciated. Everything attached to it is coated in gold. All the statues, the roof turrets, even the waterspouts on the walls of the waterways. How do they polish it all? It must take forever. I believe it is now a UNESCO heritage site.
