The oldest living land animal is 192 years old

Meet Jonathan, the world’s oldest living land animal—a tortoise over 190 years old! He hatched in 1832 and now lives on the remote island of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic. He’s outlived Queen Victoria and seen 24 Australian Prime Ministers come and go, all while enjoying a quiet life with his caretakers.

I have actually meet Jonathan in 2013 at St Helena, we (my mum, sister & Husband) were on a cruise on the Queen Elizabeth 11 and 1 of our stops was the island, not only that but this was were Napoleon was exiled there, we visited his house and the island. It was a beautiful experience that we will always remember and cherish. My mum is now 93 years old and always says it was the best time ever she has had in her life. We departed from England and made our way down to Sydney, we visited some amazing city’s.
