We know that some of you enjoy the occasional treat from McDonald's. After all, who doesn't love a good burger, chips or chicken nuggets every now and again?
So, if you’re a fan of the fast-food giant, we’ve got some good news for you! McDonald’s Australia is shaking things up by bringing back some of its popular menu items.
Starting Wednesday, 24 May – and for a limited time only – McDonald’s Australia is re-introducing a series of popular menu items, including the ever-popular Spicy Chicken McNuggets, as well as the Double McSpicy and Cheese and Bacon McSpicy.
These additions will be sold alongside the McSpicy, which is a permanent fixture on the Macca’s menu.
With flavour experiences that will tantalise your tastebuds, getting your Macca’s fix will never be the same again.
The Cheese and Bacon McSpicy features the same McSpicy flavour but adds tasty, crispy bacon and Aussie Jack Cheese to create new addicting flavours.
Meanwhile, the Double McSpicy features twice the flavour of the original McSpicy, and the Spicy Chicken McNuggets feature tender, all-white meat that’s breaded with a sizzling tempura coating and made of cayenne and capsicum.
Lancy Huynh, Group Brand Manager for McDonald's Australia, said in a statement: ‘Made with 100 per cent Aussie RSPCA Approved chicken in a crispy, mouth-wateringly spicy coating, the McSpicy range features bold, unique flavour experiences with a delicious kick that will be sure to spice up your life.’
In recent years, McDonald's Australia has made strides in using naturally-sourced Australian ingredients in all its foods.
By using sustainably sourced ingredients and a local sourcing process, not only does McDonald's Australia create delicious food, but it also creates jobs for the local communities across Australia.
‘Perfect for lunch or dinner, these bold, unique flavours will no doubt get customers’ taste buds tingling,’ the spokesperson continued.
These items are available in stores nationwide and via the MyMacca's app and McDelivery.
This announcement comes after the fast food giant revealed a new addition to its McCafe menu: the Birthday Cake Latte. Available for a limited time only, the new drink was born to celebrate McCafe’s 30th anniversary.
