The Day Off!
The local parish priest decides that he is going to take Sunday off.
He tells his fellow colleague that he is feeling unwell and
asks that he conduct all Masses for Sunday.
It is agreed. Just after the start of the first Mass the "sick" priest gets dressed,
picks up his golf clubs and heads out to enjoy a game.
As he is to about tee off on the first hole (a par 3),
Saint Peter looks down and says to God,
"This is not right he should be at Church celebrating Mass."
God replies, "Let's see what happens."
The priest looks around there is no one about as he tees off and
it's a glorious drive, right onto the green and into the hole.
It's his first ever Hole in One. Saint Peter says to God,
"Look at that he gets a hole in one, every golfers dream.
It's just not right. What can we do, what sort of punishment
does he deserve for neglecting his duties?" God simply replies,
"Who is he going to tell?"
