Who here remembers reading The Baby-Sitters Club novels? Or perhaps you bought these stories for your children? Those books really captured people's attention back then—they were that gripping!

My eldest daughter loved those books and we still have her whole collection in our attic.

My parents would wrap Christmas presents the same for my older brother and I. One year he talked me into opening a present from under the tree. He had been asking for a boat to go fishing in and I don’t even remember what I wanted that year. We opened the presents and he had a toy boat, I had a set of The Babysitter Club books. I snuck back to bed and started reading.

When it came to us sitting down and Mum handing out the presents, there was one missing! Yup. My books.

My brother who wasn’t impressed with his present had wrapped it back up and put it back under the tree!

So I got in trouble lol. But I loved those books so it was worth it.
