Team Woolies or Team Coles? TikTok pranksters posing as ‘fake’ Coles workers go viral for teasing Woolworths employees

There’s definitely no shortage of prank videos on TikTok, with some being too painful to watch and others that are actually quite amusing. This particular one? Is a hilarious battle between ‘fake’ Coles and Woolworths employees.
A pair of TikTok pranksters, also known as @blazboys, made the rounds online after causing havoc in a Woolworths store. They were well equipped with Coles’ red uniforms and a fiery passion for converting Woolworths employees to be one with them.
The video was initially filmed back in January but has only been recently posted by the Melbourne-based tricksters.
In the TikTok clip, the fake Coles team members can be seen approaching several Woolworths workers, taunting them for not opting to work for the rival supermarket.
“Why aren’t you wearing red? You should be wearing red. Come to the dark side, come to Coles,” one of the jokers said, attempting to win over a Woolies employee.
To a different Woolies worker, the pair can be heard saying: “I’m telling you man, go to Coles – it’ll change your life.”
However, a couple of the Woolies team members weren’t shy about standing their ground.

When one of the pranksters urged a Woolworths employee to “Shop at Coles, mate”, the team member hissed back, saying: “Woolies is where the fresh food is at, mate!”
In another light-hearted dispute, one of the pretend Coles employees asked a Woolworths deli worker: “Halfway through your shift at Woolworths, do you ever just start thinking ‘Why aren’t I working at Coles’?”
To which the unbothered deli worker responds: “No… I don’t actually.”
In other parts of the video, the tricksters can also be seen smacking the Woolworths freezers playfully with pool noodles and mocking signs around the store that are advertising special discounted items.
“Absolute scam. SCAM!” they teased, pointing directly at the sign with a pool noodle.
The clip amassed more than 263.4k viewers, with users debating in the comments which supermarket is best.

“Woolworths is better!” declared one person.
“Coles literally looks like a hospital... Green is such a nicer colour.” pointed out another.
“The statistics were released. Woolies dominated Coles in every category!” a third said, to which the blazboys responded: “I refuse to believe it!”
“Coles IS a lot better though. I mainly shop there.” commented a fourth.
“Sorry but Coles is the best. Woolworths doesn’t have cookie dough where I live… So, Coles for life.” chimed another.
“As a Coles worker, I agree. We should collaborate!” said one more alongside several heart emojis.
