Tariffs
I cannot understand what all this rubbish about tariffs is. A tariff is a Sales tax. It is payable by the consumer. The USA by implementing tariffs are simply adding to the cost of the goods by the consumer. The Sales company or country are not burdened whatsoever other than Sales being reduced because of the extra price of the goods. America in my opinion I’ve been incredibly foolish and increasing the cost of all the goods as this will slow down their economy and create inflation. It is a benefit to Australia where we are competing with the USA to sell similar goods to third-party companies and countries The fact that Australia is not implementing tariffs on any other country is a very positive step in my opinion and very calculated and that we don’t want to add to the cost of goods either so I’ve got no idea why the USA is so keen on increasing the cost of goods to their consumers this will create a recession and will slow economy I’d appreciate any feedback as to what I appear to be getting wrong and why everybody seems so keen to implement these extra taxes on consumers Thank you
