Ingredients

  • 500 g chocolate ripple biscuits
  • 395 g condensed milk
  • 2 x 220 g Cadbury Mint bubbly chocolate bar
  • 3/4 cup coconut

Method

  • Step 1
Place the chocolate biscuits into a food processor and process until they resemble fine crumbs (alternatively you could use a rolling pin). Place the biscuit crumbs into a large bowl.
  • Step 2
Add the condensed milk and thoroughly mix together.
  • Step 3
Break the Cadbury Mint Bubbly chocolate blocks into pieces and then cut each piece in half.
  • Step 4
Place heaped teaspoons of the mixture around the chocolate pieces and shape into balls.
  • Step 5
    Roll in coconut.
  • Step 6
    Serve.
Store in and airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week

Recipe Notes

Mint Aero chocolate squares or balls can be used in place of the Cadbury Mint Bubbly blocks.
This is a great recipe for getting tthe Grand kids involved in the kitchen.
Store the chocolate mint balls in an airtight container for up to a week.
For a yummy variation, you can replace the mint centre with Maltesers.

How to package them for gifts

If you'd like to make your truffles look as good as they taste, then here are a few tips to help you out:

  • For a professional touch, try coating your truffles and balls in melted chocolate.
  • To make a number of different looking truffles and balls, try rolling the finished sweets in crushed nuts, toasted and untoasted coconut, chocolate sprinkles, crushed chocolate bars or even jelly crystals.
  • Line a shallow box with small paper confectionary cases and place a sweet inside each paper case.
  • Package your sweets up in cellophane bags and tie them with a ribbon for an impressive gift that only takes moments to put together.
Enjoy

Gosh no I haven’t done Xmas in years but Sues coming down from Cairns and having it at her new unit. And all my fav nieces and nephews will be there so I got told I have to go because I don’t know when I’ll see them again, mind you I’ll be kicking and screaming when they drag me out of my unit.🤣

Do you think she will move down permanently. It will be wonderful for you to have that special time with your family

Doubt it that’s why she bought the unit down here so she can come and go as she pleases and she hates the winters down here, which I don’t blame her.🌞
