Sunrise's Mark Beretta was caught red-handed in a dodgy office act, and it's hilarious!

Sunrise has been known for some of the funniest segments on morning television, and one of the main reasons for that is the banter between hosts, which always manages to lighten up even the most dismal days.
However, Mark Beretta took the cake with one of his most recent confessions on set.
Sunrise recently discussed the topic of office food theft, and among the stories was that of Nat Barr, who recalled how her son's birthday ice cream had been stolen from the work freezer around ten years ago.
During the conversation, The Morning Show hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies mentioned that they would be talking about some of the hilarious revenge tactics people have used after their lunch was taken or eaten by someone else in the workplace, prompting Nat to share her story.
Nat said: 'That happened to me once.'
'The worst one that happened to me was that I brought in ice creams - a box of ice creams - for my kid's birthday, put them in the work freezer, and by the end of Sunrise, someone had eaten an ice cream!'
At that point, her co-host David 'Kochie' Koch pointed at Mark Beretta, indicating that the humourist may have been the one who stole Nat's ice cream from the freezer.
Nat then asked, 'Was that you?'
As expected, Mark dodged the question, which prompted Edwina Bartholomew to joke and say: 'If it was just one, it wasn't Beretts.'
Defending himself, Mark gave a questionable response to the accusation, saying: 'It's hard to say.'
'For breakfast?' Nat inquired with a raised eyebrow.
'Yeah, we have – I mean, obviously a lot of stuff comes in, it gets confusing... I don't know, I can't be sure!' he said, backpedalling the conversation.
'You stole a child's ice cream!' Nat responded, pretending to be upset with him. And then Kochie corrected her, saying: 'Not just a child's ice cream, a child's birthday ice cream.'
'Oh, look, at the time, it was just an ice cream. I mean, let's face it, until it's given to the child, it's not a child's birthday ice cream, is it? It's just another ice cream...' Mark tried to defend himself even more.
'You are hopeless,' Kochie said, while Nat teased, 'I'm tearing up; I'm getting emotional!'
'I'll replace them!' Mark offered, to which Nat simply retorted that she already knew he wouldn't, saying especially given that the incident had taken place ten years ago.
It's always a fun and pleasant sight to witness the stars of a show acting naturally with each other. It makes them seem more like real people instead of just TV stars and personalities, don't you agree?
