Sunrise Host David Koch playfully teases Karl Stefanovic on social media

We all love a good rivalry. Whether it's between sports teams, musical artists, or even TV shows, there's something thrilling about watching two groups go head-to-head. But what happens when the rivalry is over?

It turns out that the cast members of some of our favourite TV shows are actually friends in real life. And we're not just talking about shows that are on the same network. These TV personalities have put their differences aside to form some adorable friendships.

Speaking of rivalry, Sunrise hosts David Koch and Nat Barr are both presenting their shows from London, along with Today anchors Karl and Allison Langdon, following the passing of the Queen.

As the rivals followed the Queen on her final trip from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, Kochie seized the chance to poke fun at Karl.

Kochie posted pictures of the waves of people watching the Queen's procession on his Instagram Stories.

However, one of the photos in the series of posts was a picture of Karl standing behind a fence and staring at Kochie as his hands were wrapped around the bars.

'Gotta keep the riff-raff out,' Kochie jokingly wrote as he tagged Karl in the photo.

The Today presenter shared the photo on his own Instagram page, showing how much he appreciated the subtle dig.

Nat has also provided a behind-the-scenes look at broadcasting from a temporary tent outside Buckingham Palace.

She showed off the two wristbands the media personnel have to wear, claiming that they are not allowed to go anywhere if they weren't wearing them.

'Home for the next 10 days,' Nat said as she recorded the tent where her group had set up camp.

The behind-the-scenes look at their reporting on the Queen's passing was hailed by viewers, with many of them praising the duo and the Sunrise team for their 'great job'.

One viewer said: 'You two have been superb. Honestly, your sensitive coverage of this deserves an award.'

'Thanks for sharing. It's interesting to see behind the scenes and how you all put it together. Looks like a big job,' another wrote.

Until the Queen's funeral on Monday, Sunrise and Today will be broadcasting live from London.

We all love to see our favourite TV stars interact with each other, especially when they come from rival shows. It's even better when they share some behind-the-scenes interactions.

Fans have been delighted to see these rivalling casts share cute and funny moments off-camera. It just goes to show that even though they may be rivals on TV, they're still friends in real life!
