Spinach & Feta Egg Bake

This Spinach and Feta Egg Bake is the perfect solution for a fast and nutritious meal idea. Not only is it high in protein, but it’s also super easy to make and a fantastic side dish for the whole family.

Here’s what you’ll need to make the dish:

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 small sweet onion, chopped

2 packages (about 360g each) of spinach, chopped

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

1⁄4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper


113g crumbled feta cheese

1⁄4 cup chopped fresh dill

Pinch of Cayenne pepper (Optional)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

4 large eggs (beaten)

1⁄3 cup milk

To make this recipe, preheat the oven to about 170 degrees Celsius and grease a deep-dish plate about 9 inches wide.

Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet and saute the onions for about 8 minutes until soft.

Mix the spinach, salt, feta, pepper, dill, and Cayenne pepper and transfer the mixture to the greased plate.


Whisk together the flour, baking powder, beaten eggs, and milk in a medium bowl and pour over the spinach mixture.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes. And then, let it stand for 5 minutes before serving or cool and serve at room temperature.
