Remember the old Speedie toaster? The one where you had to flip the bread over yourself because it didn’t pop up on its own? And when the element burned out, you just replaced it—no need for a technician. Did you use this back then? Share your memories here.

When I was younger (teenager) I was doing the washing up and picked up my toaster (like this one) and started washing it up. I obviously had a brain fade and also had no toaster after that :ROFLMAO: The toaster promptly went in the bin and I bought myself a newer model. Was it deliberate so I could upgrade???????:ROFLMAO:

I guess it wasn't plugged in as you can still tell the story.
