We've all experienced receiving and sending a “cringeworthy” aka embarrassing text, but these people here take the cake; just reading their conversations makes you want to hide forever from embarrassment!

Here are some of the most hilarious texts ever that are so cringeworthy, it’s hard to believe they actually happened:

This one US mum wanted to surprise her son at college by appearing in his dorm, only to realise that she was the one who’s getting surprised - apparently, she was in the wrong dorm, lying down on the wrong bed.

Everyone’s had their share of the awkward spotlight during their birthdays, especially when someone you’re not really close with wishes you a happy birthday. Well, it’s good to see these two people didn’t beat around the bush.

Nice to know this person’s Grindr match is kind enough to inform him of his jury duty.
