Some Famous Four​

On a recent trip to Liverpool, England, I came across this monument to some band that were apparently popular here in the 60's. Not sure of their name though. Anyone know them? We were introduced to the original drummer of this band, a chap by the name of Pete Best. He told us it was his mother who mortgaged her home, to give them their big start in Frankfurt, Germany. Soon after the band replaced Pete with another drummer, Richard Starkey, who became known as Ringo Star. The Ringo came because he wore big rings on all of his fingers and the Star came from his surname, Starkey.
