Solar panels battery.

Hi, I have a small house with twelve solar panels installed. Recently, I tried to buy a battery, and was told no companies make batteries for so few panels. Since there are as many small homes as larger ones, why doesn't a company take the opportunity to do some research, to see if making changes in their factory, so that they can produce a battery which can store power for homes with a small solar system, is an option. It's a captive market, surely. Aren't Australians known for innovation? I believe the government would assist in the endeavour. What do readers think?

I see it's been a while since this topic was discussed, but I'm curious—has anyone noticed a big difference in their power bills since adding a battery to their solar setup? I've been thinking about it, but the upfront cost is making me hesitate. Would love to hear if it's really made a big impact on savings over time or if it takes longer than expected to break even.

If you’re thinking about adding storage, a battery can be great, but the costs can be high upfront. I’ve had panouri fotovoltaice for a while now, and I’ve noticed that a battery really helps reduce my bills, especially during peak times when the grid prices go up. Feed-in tariffs aren’t what they used to be, so storing your own power can make more sense than selling it back to the grid.
